Goldie is a beautiful blue and gold macaw. We believe Goldie is around 8 years old. She seems to prefer females but she does get along with some men as well. Goldie was surrendered to FFSR when her primary caretaker went away to college.

Goldie lived with dogs in her previous home and would tell them "Quiet!" when they barked. She enjoys visitors, often dancing to get their attention. She can be protective of her cage but she is a very nice bird. Please come to the sanctuary to meet Goldie.
