We don't profit from placing birds and have no paid staff — everyone associated with Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary, Inc. is a devoted volunteer. However, in order to maintain our programs and our high standard of avian care, we must require reasonable fees from adopters. Many birds will need our care indefinitely — some for the rest of their lives. Every dollar that Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary, Inc. brings in is used to promote our mission and provide for birds in need. The adoption fee varies, depending on species and is due in full at the time of adoption.
How you can help
- Adopt a bird from Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary
- Save your spare change in a jar instead of spending it - when your jar is full turn it into the sanctuary to help provide food, toys and medicine for our birds.
- Instead of receiving birthday or holiday gifts - ask for a donation to Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary.
- Coordinate a neighborhood garage sale with the proceedings benefiting Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary.
- Collect cans to recycle and collect money
