Recipes

• 1 cup ground bird pellets (we use Kaytee exact, but any kind your bird is used to will work fine)
• 1/2 cup corn meal
• ½ cup whole wheat flour
• 1 cup ground almonds
• 4 eggs (toss shells)
• 1 jar baby food (veggies or fruits, can switch back & forth also)
• Enough unsweetened fruit juice to mix into a firm dough (apricot nectar, apple juice etc)
• Scoop by spoonful & roll into balls about ½” to ¾” diameter

Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees  20-30 min. Cool on rack & refrigerate, can also be frozen. We keep a Ziploc bag in the freezer, take out 15-20 at a time to keep in refrigerator.  Very healthy substitute for store bought treats
