Larry & Gloria Martony donated a wonderful vacation package to our auction, won by Katie Van Alta and we hope to have her pictures up here in Jan. after her trip. Larry & Glora also donated use of their condo to our Board of Directors for a much needed retreat in exchange for our director's personal care of their birds when they use their condo themselves. We had a wonderful time and will never forget all the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Mexico.

The following is a listing of the people responsible for creating the new sanctuary. It is a wonderful building built with love and caring for the birds and everyone listed put in countless hours of time, sweat and even some blood to make it what it is today. We thank you and the birds thank you for everything you have done, Great job.

The Move.
Pete L, Jill L., Lucas L., Jeanne B., Diane H., Randy M., Sandi M., Craig V., Ken D. the man/woman power, the trucks and trailers, the sweat and labor were all very much appreciated, not to mention all the trips and gas from the East side of Madison out to Edgerton. Randy P. provided the gas power washer too so all the cages were moved sparkling clean, Randy M. did the cleaning of them for which we are greatful too.

Organization
The big thanks for this goes to Jill L & Jeanne B. We were all set up before the birds even arrived thanks to these two over-achievers. You saved me many hours of headaches with your tireless efforts, Thank you

Landscaping, Pete L, Lucas L, Randy M with prodding by Jill L and Sandi M, you guys are terrific, great burn pit, the fencing for the goats is terrific and thanks Craig for your help with that too, the grass is returning too.

Kathy & her friend came up from IL for the beginning of drywall also, and we thank you both for that, carrying and cutting drywall is a lot of work and we needed all the help we could get. Thank you.

All in all it was a very good team effort. The sanctuary is what it is because of all of you. It belongs to each and everyone of you and the birds and we will never forget it.
