Gabby

Gabby is a 23 year old male umbrella cockatoo. Though he has lived in a home with dogs and other birds, he would do best in a home that has cockatoo experience. He needs a home that has no children under 12.

He can be aggressive and needs someone who is patient enough to work through his serious 'too 'tude! We will require someone who has large bird experience or has extensively worked with large parrots to be his future owner. He will require someone who is both patient and persistent, and can give him the countless attention he requires.

Adopters will need to have previous bird ownership experience of a larger bird (Amazon, Grey, Macaw, Cockatoo, etc.) to take home a cockatoo. Multiple visits are required for all birds, but expect to make at least 5 visits before taking home a cockatoo. Households that have any children under 12 are not eligible to adopt a cockatoo due to their unpredictable behavior.

Gabby has been rehomed multiple times - he cannot wait to find his forever person.
