BooBoo is a shy male umbrella cockatoo who is bonded to fellow umbrella, Sweetie. These two need to be adopted to a home together. These two have been at the sanctuary for 11 years.

 

The home does need to have previous cockatoo ownership experience. BooBoo tends to stay at the back of the cage when someone opens the door, while Sweetie will come forward to investigate the new person. When their doors are left open, they will both come out of their cage.

 

They are both nice parrots of unknown age, neither displaying any sort of aggression. Please call FFSR or fill out an application to meet these two 'toos!

Adopters will need to have previous bird ownership experience of a larger bird (Amazon, Grey, Macaw, Cockatoo, etc.) to take home a cockatoo. Multiple visits are required for all birds, but expect to make at least 5 visits before taking home a cockatoo. Households that have any children under 12 are not eligible to adopt a cockatoo due to their unpredictable behavior.
