Zazu & Beaker
Zazu is a 3 year old male green cheek conure and Beaker is a 1 1/2 year old male black capped conure. The two are bonded and must be adopted out together.
A common misconception with bonded pairs is that they’re less likely to want to interact with their owner. That couldn’t be farther from the truth with these two!
Both of these guys love to come out and interact, step up easily, and accept kisses and cheek pets. Zazu is very interested in interacting with people and following Beaker, whereas Beaker tends to prefer to sit with someone quietly and keep himself entertained on your hand/arm/shoulder.
They keep themselves entertained with one another while in the cage, but love to interact with their favorite people while they’re free roaming.
Species Life Expectancy: 20-30 years
Minimum cage required: 24" x 36" x 48"
Minimum bar spacing: 1/2"-3/4"
What I eat here: Goldenfeast Central American 1/4 cup daily, Harrison pellets mixed in.
My favorite treat(s): Banana, apples, grapes, millet
