Should your question remain unanswered, please feel free to reach out to us via Voicemail, social media, or email!

In regards to adopting...

How many visits do you require?

We do not require a set number of visits. We require multiple visits to ensure we can properly educate all applicants and see that both the bird and the adopter are forming a good bond. We reserve the right to continue to adjust the number of visits based off of the progress we see.

How do I go about adopting a bird?

Please click here to fill out our adoption contract and email it to the address listed on the form. We do require the application be fully completed. Once we receive the contract, we will reach out to you to schedule an initial appointment.

How much does ____ cost?

We are unable to disclose any adoption fees on our birds. We base the adoption price of our birds based off of handleability, age, and health. Once an adopter works with a bird, we are able to disclose the birds fee.

In regards to surrendering..

What birds do you accept?

Our sanctuary is only able to assist in finding a home for psittacines, or hookbill parrots. For any wildlife inquiries, please reach out to your nearest wildlife rehabiliatators. If you have other avian species, we may be able to assist in finding other sanctuaries that can accomodate you.

How do I surrender my bird?

We are sorry to hear of any situations that may arise and cause owners to consider surrendering their loved friends.

For those who are in need of surrendering, please click here and fill out the surrender form. This form must be received prior to a bird being placed on our waiting list.

How long is the waiting list?

As with any sanctuary or similar facility, we all near capacity at some point and must not jeopardize the care of our current birds.

We are currently operating on a waiting list for surrenders.

Can I come out for a tour?

Tours can be scheduled in advance by calling our voicemail line or using any of the contact links on this site.

Please allow up to 5 business days for someone to contact you to schedule.

Are you open to the public?

We are only open by appointment. As we do not have set hours, we are currently unable to assist any walk-in appointments or queries. Please arrange an appointment before visiting the facility so we can ensure a team member will be on-site to assist you.

Do you offer boarding or trims?

Absolutely! Please send us an email with boarding paperwork if you are in need of boarding assistance. We offer short and long-term boarding, with the fee varying by parrot size.

We occasionally offer wing, beak, and nail trims as well. Please keep an eye on our homepage or our Facebook page to be notified of future trim days.
